Tunbridge Public Charter School is an elementary/middle school in the Govans neighborhood, serving pre-k through grade eight. Our school opened in the fall of 2010 and is operated by Afya Baltimore Inc. (ABI). Afya is a Swahili word for health and health is at the heart of what we do. At our school, we focus on the intellectual, physical, and social/emotional health of our students. Tunbridge is committed to providing the necessary supports and structures as our young people grow and mature.

Operator Renewal Recommendation:

On January 14, 2025, the Baltimore City School of Board Commissioners voted to renew the operator of this school, for an 8-year term with conditions. . The process by which operator schools are reviewed is called operator renewal and is part of the district’s Annual Review of Schools.
