What is a house system?

The house system, modeled from the Ron Clark Academy House System (Atlanta, Georgia), is a school-wide culture and climate system that creates a culture of belonging and community among all members of the school community.

Positive School Culture

The BTW House System will provide an opportunity for all members of the school community to cultivate a positive school climate and culture. Nationwide, schools with effective house systems in place, have experienced documented success and positive outcomes for the school at large. By design, the system will offer the opportunity to create a sense of belonging among all school members, improve the culture of community, offer opportunities to build character and encourage a positive mindset.

Sorting into House

The sorting ceremony is a sacred school ceremony which is celebrated with great excitement and individual house traditions. Members of each house remain within their house until the end of time!
