Baltimore City Public Schools requires each school to maintain a School Family Community Council (SFCC). The SFCC provides a forum where a diverse group of school stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members/partners, come together to discuss important school decisions and share information within the school community. This group collaborates with the Instructional Leadership Team to support the development and implementation of targeted strategies aimed at achieving goals outlined in the CSI plan. Members of the School Family Community Council actively participate in committees to guide these strategies. Their involvement ensures meaningful parent and community engagement in decision-making processes and allows for direct input with school leadership.
