Principal Matthews-Traynham boasts a remarkable tenure of over two decades as an esteemed educational professional. Her journey commenced as a middle school educator specializing in science and mathematics within the Baltimore City Public Schools.

Her academic credentials underscore her dedication to excellence. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, complemented by a Master of Arts in Education and Administration from Drexel University. Notably, she is currently on the path to further enhance her expertise, pursuing a doctorate in education at Morgan State University.

Mrs. Matthews-Traynham passionately champions the significance of a collaborative educational environment.
