New Educator Summer Institute
Welcome to our newest educators!
The 2024 New Educator Summer Institute (NESI) is an in-person, multi-day, introductory induction and professional development experience for newly hired educators to Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools). The NESI experience will allow Early Career Educators to engage with key resources, content, and stakeholders that are critical for a successful start in City Schools.
Throughout the NESI experience, new educators will be able to form collaborative, ongoing professional learning communities, as well as receive high-level overviews of systemic values, processes, and procedures.
