Enrichment and Support

Park Heights Academy

As a community school with a mission to serve all of our community stakeholders, we have enrichment opportunities and support for all. Enrichment for students at Park Heights is all about exciting and igniting our students' passion for learning and exploring beyond the classroom, We offer chess, robotics, a boys club, a girls club, basketball, cheer, art, fashion, board games. There are opportunities for students at all grade levels.

Our parents and families are partners for our enrichment activities; they serve regularly at robotics practices and tournaments, they help with literacy, science and math events, they help the school raise funds, they complete surveys and participate in important conversations about the strengths and needs of our school community. We host advocacy and support workshops and resources for parents and families including a 7 week Resilience Training Workshop Series for which participants receive a stipend upon completion. In 2024-2025 we will also host a fellowship opportunity for parents who are interested in developing themselves as leaders on either the PTA, the School Family Community Council or other important roles in the school.

Basketball

Basketball

Our Basketball team practiced all school year. We ended the year with a wonderful game at the Weinberg Y. We look forward to competing in the Baltimore Neighborhood Basketball League in 2024-2025. This year students also enjoyed a great competition with their elders in the staff-student contest. Being the great, grateful and kind students that they are, our Panthers gave the win to the staff. Here's the PHA Cheer Squad showing Panther Pride.
