The Baltimore Revolutionary Academy for Virtual Education, or BRAVE for short, is an online education program that aims to empower lifelong learning and holistic development through contribution, collaboration, and innovation. We provide an equity-focused, high-quality education with rigorous academics, critical thinking opportunities, project-based learning, individualized support, and extracurricular activities.

Annual Review Recommendation:

On January 23, 2024, the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners voted to approve a recommendation to change both of the district’s two virtual learning programs into a single school serving students in grades five through twelve for the 2024-25 school year and grades six through twelve thereafter. Starting in March 2024, students in the Charm City VLP currently in grades two and three and their families will be supported through a specialized placement process to find another elementary school for the 2024-25 school year for families who do not desire to return to their neighborhood school.
