Connect, Contribute, Commit: Personalizing Student Learning.
The Student Learning Plan is a collaborative tool that focuses on conversations about your student during parent-teacher conferences and other windows between you and your school. Using information about your students' experiences, preferences, current progress, and needs, they’ll work with you on identifying supports and strategies to support your student best as they work to meet their goals for the year.
These plans will provide more personalized learning opportunities and a more holistic picture of how your student in performing. They serve as a roadmap with checkpoints throughout the year, for example, during parent-teacher conferences, for you and the school to partner in your student’s learning.
Each student enrolled in a traditional school this year will have a staff member identified to help them navigate their Student Learning Plan (SLP). This staff member or navigator checks in with students and families to ensure that their voice is included in building their SLP for the year and that students & families are connected to the right resources. Please get in touch with your student's school to see who their navigator is if they have not yet reached out to you.
Review this webpage to get started and learn how to build your student’s plan. Please note: Plans are available on the Campus Portal.

Additionally, the plans will be updated in the middle of the year (March) and at the end of the year (May). Families can view all updates on the Campus Portal.
Parents can reinforce what is taught in school by partnering with their teachers to help students achieve and stay on track. Key strategies include setting up daily routines, providing a place to study, and talking to their students daily about school.
