Baltimore City Public Schools invites all middle and high school students to participate in FAFSA Fest, a City Schools initiative to help students and families navigate the process to obtain financing for college. Participants can learn how to earn cash for college, where to find financial aid support, individualized assistance with FAFSA completion and more. Students can also speak directly with representatives from local colleges and universities.

The City Schools Office of College and Career Readiness is hosting FAFSA Fest along with partners Morgan State University, Coppin State University, Johns Hopkins University and Baltimore City Community College.

Join City Schools on the following dates and times – the links are included for virtual events:

  • Wednesday, January 25, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. - FAFSA Fest Pre-Game Kickoff (Click HERE to join the virtual Kickoff)
     
  • Thursday, February 23- FAFSA Fest 2023 will be in-person at every school. Counselors and Postsecondary Advisors will support seniors in-school for FAFSA completion efforts. Seniors- reach out to your school’s counselor or PSA to schedule an appointment.
     
  • Friday, February 24 - FAFSA Fest will host virtual meetings. Families and students can sign up for live individual support by clicking HERE, or families can reach out to their school’s counselor or PSA for assistance.
