Baltimore Polytechnic Institute is seeking a new leader to start during the 2023-24 school year. The school is seeking candidates and input from the school community.
Steps in the process will include:
- City Schools will recruit and screen candidates through April 14.
- In March, the School Family and Community Council (SFC) will host a selection panel engagement session with City Schools’ Human Capital Office.
- In April, principal candidates will interview with district’s Chief of Schools and the principal supervisor.
- In May/June, City Schools CEO Dr. Santelises will interview the selected candidates, and make a recommendation to the Board of School Commissioners.
The Poly school community is urged to get involved by joining the SFC at one of its upcoming meetings on March 15, April 26, or May 24. Anyone with questions for the SFC, please email the SFC Council Chair, Ms. Serpick at biboordofsky@bcps.k12.md.us.
