Baltimore City Public Schools continues to grow the number of students that take and pass Advanced Placement Exams.
City Schools’ students are proving that increasing Advanced Placement (AP) exam scores are a consistent trend.
During the 2022-23 school year, the overall pass rates for students taking AP exams have increased by 4 percent.
The increase in the number of students enrolled in and taking AP exams is a positive sign as well, as it demonstrates growing interest in and participation in advanced coursework. With 3,088 students taking 4,474 exams across 31 exam subjects, it shows a commitment to academic rigor within the school district.
Overall, these statistics are a testament to the dedication of students, teachers, and administrators in ensuring academic success despite the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
