Congratulations to the five staff members, and 20 students who received awards in gifted and advanced learning from the state! This is the fifth consecutive year that City Schools have had teachers, leaders, and students recognized!

Each year, the state honors outstanding educators and administrators are also honored for their accomplishments in gifted and talented education. Congrats to these staff members for being recognized:

The state also recognizes exceptional elementary, middle, and high schools that have gifted and talented education programs with the Excellence in Gifted and Talented Education (EGATE) School Awards Program. Congrats to Hamilton Elementary/Middle School, for being one of the only three schools in the state being honored this year! This is the eighth consecutive year that City Schools has at least one school that earned EGATE status.
