Kids with masks

Across our district, we are working diligently to keep students, parents, and staff safe and informed during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is vital that we share accurate and timely resources to maintain our proactive approach against the spread of outbreaks. We encourage students and staff to take advantage of our latest proactive initiative, Spring Break COVID-19 Testing.

During Spring Break for schools (April 11, 2022 – April 18, 2022), we are offering one free COVID-19 at-home test kit (with two tests inside) to all students and school staff. A limited number of test kits will be available for district office staff. Students and school staff can bring home a COVID-19 at-home test kit from their school by Friday, April 8, 2022. If you choose to take a COVID-19 test home, students and staff are advised to administer the test before their return to campus on Tuesday, April 19, as early as Sunday, April 17, and no later than noon on Monday, April 18. Regular COVID-19 testing in schools will resume for students and school staff on Tuesday.

If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID, you must quarantine for the next five days. Please also report the positive test result to the Contract Tracing team on Monday, April 18 by 7 p.m. at 443-984-1200 or Email Contact Tracing. Staff must take an additional step and contact their supervisor regarding their positive status.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding COVID testing, reporting positive test results, and more, please email Email Health and Safety for further assistance.
