BALTIMORE - To celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week, Baltimore City Public Schools in partnership with Visit Baltimore, will spotlight some of City Schools’ culinary and baking students in a friendly culinary competition.
Students from Carver Vocational-Technical, Edmondson-Westside, Forest Park, and Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical high schools will participate in the competition. Some students will attend an industry panel discussion and a mini-career fair with local hospitality industry partners.

This event will offer career exploration opportunities and post-secondary transitioning resources for students. Through CTE, students get hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs in their profession of interest to graduate with their high school diploma and an industry-recognized certificate.
