BALTIMORE - Baltimore City Public Schools is extending the deadline to apply for Port Virtual Learning Program (VLP) at Digital Harbor until Friday, June 3.
Port VLP is the high school virtual learning program for the 2022-2023 school year.
To answer questions regarding the Virtual Learning Program, City Schools will host a virtual information session on May 26 at 6 p.m. The link to join the information session is https://bit.ly/3yPBYjk.
Port VLP at Digital Harbor gives students the opportunity to make virtual learning their primary mode of instruction for the 2022-2023 school year. VLP students will have access to a core curriculum for their respective grade levels and, if needed, may participate in telehealth programs focused on well-being.
Applications of students who are currently enrolled in the VLP with strong attendance and who have demonstrated academic success in the 2021-22 school year will be prioritized. Students who apply and are accepted must make a one-year commitment to the virtual program. Students identified as chronically absent (absent 10% or more of the school days while enrolled at school) during the 2021-2022 school year are not eligible for the VLP.
