Baltimore City College proudly holds the No. 460 spot among 17,680 nationally ranked schools, while Baltimore Polytechnic Institute secures a commendable No. 728 ranking. Additionally, Baltimore City College clinches the eighth rank in Maryland, while Baltimore Polytechnic Institute stands at 14th place within the state.
Baltimore City College, with a storied history dating back to 1839, continues to set the standard for academic excellence and student achievement. As a result of the school’s equity work in its International Baccalaureate (IB) program, City College has adeptly shifted to number eight in the state - ranking higher than both top public IB Schools in Montgomery County.
