City Schools is developing personalized Student Learning Plans to help each student recover unfinished learning caused by the pandemic and accelerate the growth of skills to prepare them for college and a life-sustaining career.
These plans will be updated each year, and school staff will collaborate with students and parents to build these plans by:
- Setting goals that inspire students to be and do their best.
- Selecting personalized learning methods such as tutoring or academic programs to support students in meeting their goals for the year.
- Identifying enrichment opportunities in arts, science, and academics which address the student’s interests (and areas of excitement), while connecting students with community resources.
