WHAT: Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools) is now offering seven additional meal sites providing breakfast and lunch free of charge to children at school sites during the emergency closure of schools. This will bring the total number of meal sites to 17.
Meals will be “Grab N Go” to limit the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
City Schools is participating in the Emergency Feeding Program which is funded by the USDA and administered by the Maryland State Department of Education during the Emergency Closure period as outlined by the Governor of Maryland.
WHEN: Starting Wednesday, March 18 through Friday from March 20, 2020
10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The district will be working closely with our partners and Baltimore City’s Emergency Food Working Group to identify additional options for meals and distribution for the week of March 23.
