Dr. Tracey Durant is named one of five members to serve on a newly created board that will oversee educational programs within the Department of Juvenile Services.
Dr. Durant’s appointment is the result of the newly passed Senate Bill 497, which transfers the responsibility of educational programming from the Maryland State Department of Education to the Juvenile Services Education Board.
City Schools congratulates Dr. Durant on her new appointment and celebrates with her as she continues to lead from her seat and be a champion for the youth of Baltimore City and beyond.
