Due to the potential for inclement weather on Wednesday, December 16, Baltimore City Public Schools is canceling all in-person learning opportunities on Wednesday, December 16. Virtual learning will continue for all students as scheduled.

This closure of in-person programming includes all Student Learning Centers, special education learning and assessment centers, English learners, and small-group learning opportunities. Students should log-in to classes at home.

All meal sites and Laptop Services will also be closed on Wednesday, December 16.

Other notes:

  • The North Avenue building will be closed for all in-person services for families and students. Examples of services include laptop repair, enrollment/choice/transfer, and the Multilingual Enrollment and Support Center. However, these services will be available virtually.

  • All non-essential employees assigned to North Avenue are not required to report and should work remotely. If an employee has a duty or need that requires travel to North Avenue, they must coordinate with their supervisor beforehand.
