BALTIMORE — All students are required to have certain immunizations (also known as vaccinations or shots) to attend school, as outlined by the Maryland Health Department. To assist families needing transportation, City Schools, Uber and Lyft have partnered to offer free rides to immunization appointments.
Families with a scheduled appointment to receive immunizations that need assistance with transportation should contact their child's school. Information about immunizations is located on the district website at www.baltimorecityschools.org/immunizations.
A list of opportunities for students to be immunized is below. Medicaid or proof of insurance is NOT required for school clinics, KIPP or Baltimore City Health Department.
UMB/UMMC FREE Immunization Clinic -

School-based health centers at the following locations are also open and available to provide immunizations to students enrolled in a Baltimore City Public School:
- City Springs,
- The Reach! Partnership School,
- Digital Harbor High School,
- New Era Academy, and
- Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts.
