Last week, we visited with Principal Cindy Harcum of Baltimore City College to learn more about City Alumnus David Rubenstein, who was recently announced as part of the new ownership group of the Baltimore Orioles. WMAR's Jack Watson also covered a story on the new owner during our visit.
We talked with Principal Harcum, also a City Alumna, about what this news means for her school community and how it ties into the school's mission and values. While conversing about how the school continues to prepare students for success and philanthropy, Principal Harcum emphasizes, "We want them to understand that this is not just about making good grades but also about being good citizens."
