February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and we will highlight various CTE programs to take a closer look at how students learn relevant, real-world skills through their CTE courses.
Our first stop was the Electrical Construction shop at Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical School, where we spoke to students and their instructor, Mr. Johns. He details their class group project, where his students are posing as self-employed electrical contractors. Take a look at how these students are learning real-life skills in class!
