Carter Elementary/Middle School took some students to the Y’s Second Annual Boys & Young Men of Color Retreat (BYMOC) at Camp Puh’Tok. This two-day retreat was filled with conversations about mental health, mentorship, careers, connections and team building.

Fifth-grade students learned how to plot coordinates with their designated pilot Captain Isenstadt. The program offers STEM-focused activities and experiments to help foster an interest in aviation careers.

Exhibits from vendors like 3D Pen Print, The Science Guy, and B360 offered interactive STEM/STEAM activities for parents and scholars. The event fostered collaboration and exploration, uniting families and the community to celebrate science.
