City Schools' students are invited to participate in Mayor Scott’s Black History Month Art Contest. In preparation for Black History Month, students are encouraged to submit original artwork—paintings, drawings, digital art, or mixed media—celebrating the contributions of Black leaders, artists, and trailblazers. Winning pieces will be displayed at City Hall throughout February.
Artwork drop-offs will take place at City Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from Monday, December 9, through Friday, December 13. Participants should review the contest guidelines to ensure a smooth submission process. For questions, please email childrenandfamilysuccess@baltimorecity.gov.
