City Schools families, please pardon the interruption. The suspension of MTA's Light Rail service, effective today, December 8, could impact your student's transportation. MTA buses will be available to support bus riders, but we encourage you to plan to leave early and expect delays in your commute to and from school.

At 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). At this time, FEMA will send an automated alert to WEA-compatible cellular devices like smartphones and similar devices, causing them to ring. The test message will display in either English or in Spanish, depending on the language settings of the wireless handset. This simultaneous test may cause a temporary disruption in schools and offices. Individuals with sensory concerns should also prepare in advance.
