Due to inclement weather, Credit Recovery classes and registration at Fredrick Douglass High School for Saturday, January 20, are canceled. The Virtual Credit Saturday Credit Recovery Program, held virtually, is not canceled. Students can register for the Saturday Biology and American Government Virtual Credit Recovery Program on January 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frederick Douglass High School. Late registration for remaining seats is available on February 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frederick Douglass High School. If additional registration times are available, more information will be shared in the coming weeks.

Due to a power outage impacting the area, Edmondson-Westside High School, Thomas Jefferson Elementary/Middle, and Mary E Rodman Elementary will be released at 2 p.m. today. All after-school activities and athletics are canceled at these schools. Transportation will arrive soon, and staff will wait with students until they are picked up. We will host The Great Math Scavenger Hunt on December 19th, 2023, from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Maryland Science Center. This is a hands-on learning event organized by grade bands (kindergarten through 8th grade) to support families in seeing and learning about their child’s milestones for the school year.
