Principal's Message

Greetings Hamilton Families!

Welcome to our school community. I am Natasha Pouncey,  the very proud principal of Hamilton EMS, the home of the HAWKS!  Hamilton is such a special place nestled in the heart of Northeast Baltimore City. We believe that every student is gifted and it's our responsibility to help cultivate those gifts. There is so much happening at our school including arts integration with a full band, honors programming with EGATE recognition , nature exploration courses with live chickens in our gardens/outdoor classroom, Makerspace, award winning sports programming, inclusion initiatives and so much more! We have an active PTA and prioritize connecting with our families.  Our staff are dedicated and highly skilled with a passion for education and a love for children. We have a strong history of academic excellence and also believe in supporting the whole child.  Together we all work side by side with our students at the center. We are the HAWKS. HEARTwork is HAWKwork!
