All eligible employees can enroll in the Sick Leave Bank for the 2023-24 school year starting Monday, October 9, through Friday, October 20, through Employee Self-Service. Even if you were enrolled last year, you must re-enroll for the coming year if you wish to continue to have access to the Sick Leave Bank.
The Sick Leave Bank gives employees the opportunity to apply for additional sick leave days due to an unexpected, long-term illness. In order to enroll in the Sick Leave Bank, you must agree to donate one of your accrued sick days.
All BTU, PSRP, CUB, L44, PSASA, and FOP employees are eligible. If your available sick leave balance falls below this required contribution amount before October 21, you won't be eligible for the program. To maintain a record of your election, please print and keep a copy of the confirmation page.
This process doesn't impact "Sick Leave Conversion."
