City Schools is proud to partner in Giant Food’s ROUND UP AT THE REGISTER for Nourishing Our Youth program, which provides direct funding to City Schools’ nutritional programs. This pocket change adds up quickly. Over the last two school years, the initiative provided $43,000 to City Schools, supporting several efforts, including expanded services of our Str/EATS truck.
From July 1 to August 1, 2024, everyone who shops at Giant Food will be invited to “ROUND UP AT THE REGISTER” and donate the round-up amount of their bill to support Nourishing Our Youth. Please consider rounding up at your next grocery check-out or donate online through Giant Delivers and Giant Pickup.
As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, we ask for your help to spread the word to the community to ensure this program is a great success. Our goal is to address food insecurity in our school communities and support the families who need the most help accessing nutritious meals and snacks. We look forward to partnering with Giant Food in the fight against hunger.
