One of the five competencies is being an effective communicator. This competency requires that students will listen effectively to decipher the meaning and then articulate thoughts and information that leads to a productive exchange of ideas.
Rising senior from Western, Saniyah Larkins, wrote a commentary on Biden's presidency and the 2024 election that was recently published in The Afro newspaper. In her article, Larkins asks poignant questions about the focus of Biden's presidency.
