As temperatures soar, City Schools wants to ensure that everyone’s safety is a top priority. 

This level of heat for many people will can create an extreme risk of heat-related illnesses for many people when access to adequate cooling or hydration is not available. Therefore, it is important to do the following: 

Keep cool – Use air conditioning or a fan to cool off.

Wear light and loose-fitting clothing. 

Keep skin wet – Use a spray bottle or damp cloth.

Stay hydrated! Keep drinking water before you feel thirsty! 

Stay indoors during days of extreme heat. 

Check on elderly neighbors, friends and relatives.
