On Monday, August 12, Hearst Media, in collaboration with the Baltimore Orioles, hosted the inaugural “Dr. Tim Tooten ‘Stuff the Bus School Supplies Drive’” at the Baltimore City Public Schools District Office on North Avenue. The event was marked by a generous outpouring of donations from community members, law enforcement officers, and families, all contributing to the effort of equipping our City Schools students with essential supplies for the 2024-2025 school year.
The drive is named in honor of Dr. Tim Tooten, the esteemed WBAL education reporter who retired in December 2023.
