The Council of Great City Schools is accepting nominations for the 2024 Queen Smith Award and the 2024 Green-Garner Award to celebrate the nation's top urban schoolteachers and superintendents.
Take this opportunity to nominate an educator for the 2024 Queen Smith Award for Commitment to Urban Education to honor their noteworthy dedication to their students and inspiring teaching methods, especially if they consistently go the extra mile to foster a love of learning.
The award, which offers a $5,000 cash prize, will be presented at the Council’s Fall Conference. Nominations must be submitted online HERE.
The deadline to apply is COB, Friday, August 23.
Superintendents can be nominated for the 2024 Green-Garner Award to recognize their exceptional contributions, unwavering commitment and positive impact on schools!
The award will be presented at the Council’s Fall Conference as well, and the winner will receive a $10,000 college scholarship to give to a high school senior student in their school district. Nominations must be submitted online HERE.
The deadline to apply for the award is COB, Friday, September 6.
