student and teacher greeting each other

Student Learning Plans (SLPs) are roadmaps for partnering with families to ensure students receive the resources and supports necessary to meet their goals for the year.

An important step in building that partnership is to make a connection with our families and students. Resources are available to conduct an “About Me” conversation with a student and their family in the first 3 weeks of school.

As you prepare for these conversations, a student’s prior year SLP is available in the SLP portal (found in Infinite Campus Extensions). Please visit the SLP Resource Hub to review the About Me questions, as well as the Welcome Script to support these conversations. School staff should document the responses in the SLP tool for students.

Office hours are available to staff and educators every Friday during the month of September from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
