My name is Jennifer Kelly and I am the school psychologist here at Armistead Gardens! As the school psychologist, I work to help all students meet with academic, social, emotional and behavioral success. I have worked at Armistead Gardens for nine years and for Baltimore City Public Schools for 11 years. I am originally from New York (Go Giants!) but have lived in Maryland for 13 years. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.

I serve as the Student Culture and Climate Lead. This is my first year at AG, but I have been teaching in Baltimore City as a special educator for the last 11 years. I was born and raised in Baltimore and live in Northeast Baltimore with my partner, three kiddos, and our dog. We also have four chickens! I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Special Education from University of Maryland, College Park. I also teach yoga in many classrooms and enjoy teaching prenatal yoga to expecting parents. I enjoy hiking, going to concerts, traveling, and gardening in my free time!

I am the School Social Worker at AG. I have been a Social Worker for over 20 years and have been at AG for 6 years. I grew up in NY and moved to Baltimore to attend Loyola College. I stayed here for grad school at University of MD where I received my Masters in Social Work. I have been working with children and families in Baltimore City ever since.

I love traveling to new places, trying new restaurants, hanging out with my dog, and watching true crime shows.

I am a trilingual school social worker (Portuguese, English, and Spanish) currently in my 5th year at AG and my 10th year with Baltimore City Public Schools. Originally from Brazil, I have been in the US for 20 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil), a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new countries with my family, reading with my daughter, listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, attending concerts, and playing with my dogs.
