Enrichment and Support

Student Wholeness and Supports

Following Responsive Classroom and City Schools' strategies, we implement a school-wide, research-based wholeness plan that encompasses the whole child. By starting every day off with Morning Meeting, a community is built within the classroom and school. Using energizers, outdoor learning and play, quiet time, closing meetings, and restorative circles, our students are able to focus on instruction and developing positive relationships with staff and other students.

Student Government Association

MHES has a powerful SGA that implemented a few new initiatives in the 2023-2034 school year! These include classroom pets, Medfield Spirit Week, and a diversity celebration. Every year, students apply, campaign, and give election speeches. Students vote for their SGA each year.
