John Ruhrah

John Ruhrah is the school of many nations. Serving students Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade in Greek Town, John Ruhrah is a 21st century building with a diverse population. Our school is specializes in English Language Development (ELD) and has a growing Spanish dual language program. Our staff is focused on providing an outstanding instructional program in order to develop the skills needed to be successful in college and career. John Ruhrah offers students many opportunities to engage in rigorous curriculum and specialized programming including Newcomer language development, biliteracy development, and birth to 5 services for the community through our Judy Center. In addition to our regular school day, students have opportunities to participate in after-school activities such as broadcast, robotics, trout club, Green Team, cooking club, chess club, sports, debate, student government, art clubs, and much more. John Ruhrah is dedicated to supporting families and students to become their very best!
