October focuses on bullying prevention, and this year’s City Schools’ theme is Community over Bullying. Schools across the district will host assemblies, events, and engagement opportunities to discuss bullying prevention.
Join us on Wednesday, October 16, for Unity Day, and wear orange to show solidarity against bullying. Resources and bullying report forms are available on the City Schools web page: Addressing Bullying, Harassment, and Sex-based Discrimination | Baltimore City Public Schools (baltimorecityschools.org)
If you want to learn more about bullying prevention, ParentGuidance.org is offering a live webinar next week entitled Bullying – Stop the Cycle on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 7 p.m., and again at 9 p.m. Access the webinar by visiting https://parentguidance.org/mhs-catalog/, click on the events list (box to the far right), and scroll to the date.
