Message From the Principal
To Our Wonderful William Paca Family,
At William Paca Elementary, our motto is to prepare students to Learn, Lead, Succeed--to learn how to be critical thinkers, to lead through innovation and creativity, and to succeed in a globally competitive society. By providing a high-quality and well-rounded education, we believe that all of our students are capable of meeting and exceeding grade-level standards.
I am passionate about empowering our students through their strengths and nurturing their growth. Our team of committed teachers and staff members share this vision and are dedicated to ensuring all students social-emotional needs are met in tandem with their academic needs.
It is our privilege to prepare young students for the demands of college and careers. Each team member offers unique perspectives and life endeavors that adds value to our students' school experience--this manifests in the creation of a truly authentic school community. At William Paca, it is important for our students to enjoy their "home away from home" so they can feel safe taking risks in a supportive environment, leading each child on a journey to lifelong personal growth and development.
In addition to the work we do inside of the school, engaging families and communities is also a key driver to our students' academic achievement. I truly believe in effective teamwork involving all stakeholders. It takes a village to provide the best educational experience for our young people--parents, teachers, administrators, and community members must all be a united front, advocating for each and every child.
I hope that each school year at William Paca brings an abundance of new learning and fulfillment to our students as well as the school community. Even more, I wish for all of our students to realize the limitless potential of their dreams, and to understand that through perseverance, consistency, and an educated mind, they can achieve anything.
Sincerely,
Olia Hardy, Principal
